  • What is Pick Hub?
    Pick Hub is a smartphone application that allows the user to choose the best option for all their trips, through an optimized combination of all existing public transport, from the most traditional (train, bus, metro, etc.) to emerging ones (TVDE, bicycles, scooters, etc.). With Pick Hub you can now plan your door-to-door trips around the world, and we are progressively integrating the purchase of tickets for all stages of the trip for easier mobility.
  • What system requirements are needed to use Pick Hub?
    On iOS, version 12.0 or higher is required and can be installed on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. On Android, it requires system 6.0 or higher.
  • Como usar e navegar a Pick Hub?
    A Pick Hub é uma aplicação intuitiva para o utilizador, criada a pensar na simplicidade de utilização. No entanto, se precisar de assistência para usar a Pick Hub, contacte-nos através de hello@ubirider.com.
  • How to plan a trip?
    To plan a trip, you will have to open the Pick Hub, click on the search bar “I want to go to…” and define your origin and final destination. You can also define whether you want to leave at the moment, on a specific date/time or at what time you want to arrive. Applying filters to customize your trip is also an option. Pick Hub then gives you several routes, allows you to purchase tickets for already integrated operators and guides you in real time during your trip.
  • Não obtenho rotas. O que posso fazer?
    Existem duas razões pelas quais poderá não conseguir obter rotas. A primeira dever-se-á à falta de ligação à Internet, pelo que deverá consultar as definições do seu smartphone e confirmar se está ligado à mesma. A segunda razão prende-se com o facto de ainda não termos informações relativas às rotas e transportes do local onde pretende fazer a pesquisa. Neste caso, poderá informar-nos da situação através do nosso contacto.
  • How to add favorites?
    To add favourites, in Home, click on the option “Home” or “Work” and define the corresponding address. You can also click on “Add” and define the address, choosing the name you want to give to the favourite. After these actions, the favorites will be saved and will appear on Home whenever you open Pick Hub, for faster navigation.
  • How to buy tickets at Pick Hub?
    To buy tickets, you must choose the desired route, confirm the price and click on “Buy”. Below you will find a summary of your travel details. Confirm them and then click on “Buy”. Payment will be made, the ticket will be available in the app and your trip will start automatically. If your trip is for a future date/time, the ticket will be saved in “Trips”.
  • How to add payment methods?
    In your Profile, select “Payment”. Then click on “Add payment method” and choose the type of payment you want. Then follow the instructions for each method. For now you can pay through MBWay and Credit Cards, but in the future, we will provide more options.
  • Como pedir fatura?
    A fatura é automaticamente enviada para o email associado à conta da Pick Hub. Se quiser fatura com NIF, deverá inseri-lo previamente no seu perfil. Em casos excepcionais, o operador poderá emitir a fatura à posteriori. Nesse caso, receberá a informação de como pedir a fatura junto do operador em questão.
  • Can I buy tickets for other people?
    No. At the moment, it is only possible to buy a ticket for the user who owns the account.
  • I want to buy a child/student/youth/senior/etc discounted ticket. Can I do it at Pick Hub?
    Yes, all tickets sold by operators, including those with an associated discount, can be purchased at Pick Hub. Simply define the type of passenger when selecting the route.
  • Does Pick Hub charge any additional fees for purchasing tickets?
    No, never. The price of tickets purchased at Pick Hub is the same as practiced by operators at all their other points of sale.
  • Where can I check my ticket?
    To check the tickets you have already purchased, go to the “Travel” tab. There you will find all your tickets.
  • How can I set notifications that let me know I have a trip?
    To set notifications that let you know that you have a trip, you must go to your Profile and choose “Notifications”. Then, you just have to define how long before you want to be reminded of your trip and create the reminder. You can also activate notifications that give you real-time information during the trip, such as directions, when to get off the transport, etc.
  • I want to change the date of my trip. Can I do it?
    The change of travel dates/times must be done with the operators. You can access the contacts of each operator in the list of active operators here.
  • I want to cancel my ticket. How can I do it?
    The cancellation of trips must be done with the operators. You can access the contacts of each operator in the list of active operators here.
  • Where can I consult the Terms and Conditions of each trip?
    The Terms and Conditions of each trip are defined by the transport operators of the same. You can access the Terms and Conditions of each here.
  • How do I start the trip?
    After purchasing a trip, it can be started automatically or, in the case of a trip scheduled for a future date, you can start it from the scheduled trips menu.
  • Como posso validar o meu bilhete com a Pick Hub?
    A validação dos bilhetes comprados na Pick Hub poderá acontecer de várias formas: através da leitura do bilhete por um validador à entrada do transporte, através da leitura do bilhete pelo motorista com um validador ou através da leitura de QR codes na entrada nos transportes, que abrirá as portas necessárias para entrar no transporte, se estas existirem.
  • Can I open transport access doors/gates with Pick Hub? As?
    Yes, you can. The doors are opened by reading a QR code placed on the door, which will be read by the Pick Hub and will give you access to the transport. To do this, when you arrive at the door, you must press the “Open door” button at the stage of the trip you are on and the camera will open to read the QR code.
  • The door/gate did not open. What do I do?
    You should make two more attempts. If you still cannot access the transport, you should ask an assistant present at the station for help.
  • I ran out of battery. How do I validate/display my ticket?
    If you run out of battery and need to show your ticket to an inspector, please provide the email associated with your Pick Hub account. In this way, you will be able to consult your ticket(s).
  • Não consigo abrir a Pick Hub/ a Pick Hub deixou de funcionar. O que posso fazer?
    Se a Pick Hub não abre ou apresenta uma mensagem de erro ao abrir, comece por verificar se tem a última versão instalada. Caso tenha, desinstale a app e instale novamente. Se o problema persistir, por favor, contacte o nosso suporte em hello@ubirider.com.
  • Can I use Pick Hub without having active location?
    No. In order for us to be able to suggest the best routes and guide you on your travels, location access must be enabled.
  • Can I use Pick Hub without Internet?
    Without internet it is not possible to search routes and buy trips. However, if you are on a journey, you will be able to access your ticket(s).
  • I changed my cell phone. Will I lose my data?
    No. Accounts created at Pick Hub are stored in the Cloud and can be accessed from different mobile phones. If you changed your mobile phone, just install Pick Hub and authenticate. Your account data will be automatically synced.
  • I forgot my password. How can I get it back?
    To recover your password, you must click on the “I forgot my password” button on the Log In page. Next, you will have to enter the email associated with your Pick Hub account and a password recovery link will be sent to it.
